The castello Ursino in Catania will be closed to visitors from April 4 to April 7, 2016. The castle will be open for visits from 8th to 18th April and will then close again from 19th to 21st April to prepare a new exhibition.

Timetable: from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. Sunday from 9 am to 1.30 pm. Tickets: full price € 6, reduced € 3.

From April 1, 2016 there will be two new free shuttle busses from AMAT in the old town center of Palermo which will be very useful for tourists. The first bus, called "Free Express", will link the Parking in via Basile - terminus of the regional busses - with piazza Indipendenza, nearby the royal palace. The bus frequency will be about 10 minutes. The second shuttle bus, called "Free Centro Storico", will start from Indipendenza crossing the old town center and returning at the starting point. Bus stop will be at the cathedral, at teatro massimo, porta felice and nearby the traditional street markets del Capo, della Vucciria and Ballarò. This shuttle bus will run every 11 minutes. Both lines will be active from 6.30 am to 9 pm.
