Due to landslide hazard the municipality of Realmonte (Agrigento) has forbidden part of the access trails to the cliffs of Scala dei Turchi. The coast guard has also forbidden access to the sea in the same area and for a distance of 25 m from the coastside. We suggest to call the municipality for updated information if you are programming a visit to the famous cliffs near Agrigento, in southern Sicily.
