Description
The ancient Greek-Roman theatre of Taormina is among the most famous and visited monuments in Sicily. This beautiful theatre has an incredible position over the sea and a great panorama with Mt. Etna in background. During the day it's possible to visit the archaological area. During the summer months the theatre is often used for opera and pop music concerts. The ancient theatre of Taormina is a real must-see, visiting eastern Sicily.
